The Valdivian Villa

Resembling a green haven tucked somewhere in the quaint bylanes of Alibaug, this charming holiday home almost transports you to a quintessential retreat. Brimming with beautiful green vegetation, with over 20 varieties of homegrown plants and trees, including cashews, mangoes, lemon, chilli and guavas. The Valdivian Villa makes for an ideal escape for the weekend. The indoor spaces are airy and all things breezy. The entire home is eloquently ornamented with a melange of modern and colonial furnishings with cosy nooks, perfect for de-stressing and relaxing.

The elevated yoga deck features a Lord Shiva statue and overlooks the surrounding breathtaking sights of the hills, perfect for a quiet meditation session. Whilst the exteriors are embellished with a swing, daybeds and outdoor furnishings. And the treehouse certainly is an attraction for all age groups, be it young or old. Begin your days with a lazy morning stroll in the emerald gardens, and end your days under the starry night skies, this tranquil holiday home is set amidst lush greenery and bliss.

This is not wheelchair-friendly property. Pets are welcome.

The Space:

BEDROOMS
– There are 3 well-furnished bedrooms – all on the first floor.
– All bedrooms are equipped with a variety of amenities including a king-sized bed, wardrobe, AC, attached bathroom and extra foldable beds.
– 2 bedrooms open up to an attached balcony, overlooking the surroundings, whilst the third bedroom has a low seating balcony area.

BATHROOMS
– There are 3 attached bathrooms and 1 common bathroom.
– All bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries.

COMMON AREAS
– The curved staircase leading up to the villa opens up to the expansive living room on the ground floor, with large windows and vaulted ceilings.
– It is equipped with ample seating arrangements for up to 11 people including plush sofas and cosy cane chairs, along with a TV, portable music system and Wi-Fi access. It is not equipped with an AC.
– It opens up to an attached patio furnished with a swing, offering serene views of the swaying palms.
– There is a separate dining room on the first floor, that can seat up to 8 people.
– The expansive exteriors of the property feature 2 lush green lawns, 500 sq. ft. in size each. It is complete with daybeds, benches, coffee tables and more.
– The lush green vegetation boasts a spread of 20+ varieties of crops, including cashew, chilli, kokum, lemon, supari and guava trees.
– Guests can relax and unwind, and enjoy a soothing yoga session on the yoga deck, that features a Shiva statue.
– There is a treehouse, complete with seating arrangements and overlooking beautiful landscapes.
– A gurgling stream flows through the home, and wooden bridge passes just above it.

KITCHEN
– Guests do not have access to the kitchen.
– It is equipped with a water purifier, crockery and cutlery.

FOOD
– All vegetarian meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost.
– The costs for the aforementioned food and beverage offerings and events are subject to an 18% GST charge.
– Consumption of non-vegetarian food is not allowed.
– Prices and items may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.
– Service from delivery partners like Swiggy and Zomato is not available in Alibaug.

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to the entire villa except for the kitchen. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay.

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We can provide accommodation for 1 female staff member or 1 male staff member at an additional cost of Rs. 1500 per person, per day.

ACTIVITIES
This beautiful holiday home promises to be a scenic escape in the coastal town of Alibaug. Within the property, guests can begin their day with a calming yoga session on the yoga deck, amidst the refreshing morning breeze. Enjoy a competitive game of badminton, golf, basketball and volleyball. Gather your loved ones and play indoor games like carrom, darts and chess. Enjoy a brisk morning walk in the sprawling gardens. Savour the beautiful surroundings of Alibaug from the private balconies. Swing away to your heart’s content. Relish a hearty barbecue meal around the bonfire.
