BEDROOMS
– There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor of the villa.
– There are 5 bedrooms at the property, 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms on first floor out of which ground floor bedrooms will be given to you and other bedrooms will be either locked or owner will be staying.
– Heaters are provided in both rooms.
– Both rooms have attached bathrooms.
– Both rooms have flat-screen TVs.
– Wi-Fi accessibility is provided in both rooms.
– The rooms have 1 double-size bed each.
– Extra sofa-beds / mattresses will be provided on request.

BATHROOMS
– There are 2 private attached bathrooms in the villa.
– The bathrooms are absolutely neat and tidy.
– Both bathrooms have geysers, towels and toiletries.

COMMON AREAS
– The living room has a flat-screen TV, heater and Wi-Fi accessibility.
– It has seating arrangements for 10 people.
– There’s a private lawn where guests can unwind.
– Outdoor seating arrangements for 12 people is available.

KITCHEN
– The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, and RO water.
– Crockery is available for 15 people.
– Guests do not have access to the kitchen.

FOOD
– The cook can prepare basic north Indian food only.
– Breakfast is complimentary.
– All vegetarian & non-vegetarian meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost of Rs. 750 per person, per meal.
– Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options can be chosen from the set menu based on your preference.
– Guests can indulge in the local fare at nearby restaurants such as Kwality, Aamod Resort, Sharma’s Dhaba and more.
– Please inform us about your meal preferences well in advance so we are well-prepared to serve you.

ACTIVITIES
Within the property, guests can enjoy bonfires and barbecues. One can also head out to experience all that Dalhousie has to offer as the villa is very conveniently located.

HOME TRUTH
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
– The villa is not handicap-friendly.
– The Wi-Fi connectivity can be erratic due to the height at which the villa is located.
– It is advised to keep doors and windows closed after evenings to prevent mosquitoes from entering the house.
– Guests are also advised to return from walks and treks around before sunset to prevent encounters with insects and reptiles in the wild.
– Please note that this property has two floors, with guests not having access to the upper floor, as it is occupied by the owner.
– There are approximately 25 to 30 steps leading from the parking area to the villa’s entrance level.

HOUSE RULES
– Loud music is not allowed after 10 PM.
– Drinking is not allowed inside the villa. However, you can drink outdoors.
– Smoking is not allowed inside the villa. However, you can smoke outdoors.
– Pets are not allowed.
– Switch off the outdoor lights after dark to avoid insects.
– Ensure you shut all windows before sunset.
– Stags are not allowed at the property.

GUEST ACCESS
Please note that this property has two floors, with guests not having access to the upper floor, as it is occupied by the owner. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests will have restricted access to shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property, but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay.

ADDITIONAL COSTS
– Barbecue kit can be availed by the guests at an additional cost.
– A bonfire can be set up at an additional cost of Rs. 2000 per session.
– Barbecue meals can be set up at Rs. 750 per person, for vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
– Laundry services can be availed. The cost depends upon each item of clothing.

POLICIES
– The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
– The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
– Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
– All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
– All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
– Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
– Any illegal activity – including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics – is strictly not permitted.
– Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
– A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in.
– This entire amount is refunded within five working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
