Stonehurst Cottage is a heavenly abode that is surrounded by apple orchards and the beautiful Himalayan valleys. Perfect for group getaways and celebrating momentous occasions, you can arrive at this villa worry-free and enjoy a spread of entertaining activities like indoor games, group barbecues and bonfires.

This is a wheelchair-friendly property.

The Space:

BEDROOMS
– There are 5 bedrooms – 2 on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor. 
– TV, WiFi, intercom and attached bathrooms are offered in all rooms.
– All rooms have king-sized beds.
– All rooms offer a view of mountains and apple orchards. 
– There is a 6th room (with an attached bathroom) in the villa where the host resides. The booking for this room is also available subject to availability.  

BATHROOMS
– There are 6 bathrooms – 5 attached, and 1 common powder room on the ground floor. 
– All attached bathrooms have solar geysers, towels and basic toiletries.

COMMON AREAS
– The living room seats up to 15 people. 
– It offers WiFi, and TV
– The dining area seats up to 15 people. 
– There is a 2,500 sq. ft lawn with seating for up to 12 people.

KITCHEN
– Guests do not have access to the kitchen. 
– The kitchen is equipped with a water purifier, crockery and cutlery.

FOOD
– All meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost, on an a la carte basis.
– Guests can also eat out in nearby eateries like Fat Plate, Valentino’s and Shan-e-Manali Restaurant.
– Outside food is strictly not allowed. 

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to the entire villa except for the kitchen. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests will have restricted access to shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is present at the property and is always accessible. A trained and responsible caretaker is also present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. 

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We are unable to provide accommodation for your personal staff.

ACTIVITIES
Within the property, guests can play indoor games like carrom, cards and ludo. Guests can take a peaceful walk in nature and embrace its beauty. They can also request for a barbeque kit to be arranged. A karaoke is also available for use at no additional charges. 

HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
– Please note that there is a 400 m. steep road to get to the property.
– There is a CCTV camera installed near the lobby at the main entrance.
– In case of a power outage, the inverter can support all the lights for up to 2 hours.
– There is a friendly resident dog residing on the premises of the same property for security purposes.
– Only 2 rooms on the ground floor are suitable for guests who use wheelchairs.
– The housekeeping staff and chef stay on the premises of the same property.
– WiFi, although offered, is subject to network availability at any given time. The speed for the same is 30 Mbps.
– Mobile networks such as Jio/Airtel work fairly well here.

ADDITIONAL COSTS
– A barbecue kit is available at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per day, plus grocery charges as per actuals.
– A bonfire can be arranged at Rs. 1500 per bonfire, for a duration of 2.5 hours to 3 hours.
– Room heater is available at Rs. 400 per heater, per night
– Laundry services can be availed at an additional cost.
– The caretaker can run errands at an additional cost of Rs. 100 per visit. 

HOUSE RULES
– Loud music is not allowed post 10 PM.
– Drinking is allowed. 
– Smoking is allowed in the balconies or outdoors.
– Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care.

POLICIES
– The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
– The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
– Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
– All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
– All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
– Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
– Any illegal activity – including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics – is strictly not permitted.
– Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
– A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in.
– This entire amount is refunded within five working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
