Perched on the cusp of serene reserved forest, surrounded by its own small fruit orchard. Dimple Lodge is a 150 year old heritage home that invites you over a spectacle of nature and luxury. Even before stepping in, the aura of this property that has served many generations and important people captivates your soul. The villa is entirely made from wood and is supported by “Dhajji Dewari” walls (a timber, masonry lime and mortar mix) holding up not only the structure but many stories. The living area is a comforting sanctuary for recreation that is blanketed by the gentle winds from the breathtaking forest and also the warm embrace of the fireplace. The library is a reader’s as well as writer’s paradise, seeming straight out from a Ruskin Bond novel.

As you ascend the staircase to the first floor, a fireplace and lobby area greets you with a rich forest view that seamlessly blends with contemporary amenities. On the first floor, each bedroom is thoughtfully designed with curated drapes and carpets along with windows that make sure no one misses out on the serenity of nature. The bedroom on the ground floor connects to a sunroom that boasts a lush living canvas of the forests beyond its window panes. As you step outside, you will be transported to a colonial style lawn with a rose garden looking out into the forest as you enjoy the pure mountain air. Traverse through the lawn and you’ll find yourself in the arms of the terrace that can host picnics and luncheons.

Despite being in a reserved forest Dimple Lodge is close to the city centre, and is ideal for going on a small shopping spree and collecting souvenirs from your sojourn. Dimple Lodge beckons you over for a stay that transports you into a bygone era, with walls that hold not only stories but new memories that you can be part of.

Embark on a day that ventures one into captivating adventures along with serenity of a reserve forest at Dimple Lodge. As the sun rises from the forests, the rooms are filled with the symphony of cooing birds and the crisp mountain  air. Head over to the sun room where one can soak in the morning sun and enjoy a calming cup of tea. On the first floor, the lobby area makes sure that no one misses out on the tranquillity of nature and greets one as soon as they wake up. Venturing into the mini library, one discovers a cocoon of intellect, where the shelves cradle literary gems that beckon exploration. The aroma of a sumptuous breakfast wafts from the dining area, with curated culinary delights set the tone of the day. Leisurely conversation in the villa’s living area, draped in plush fabrics and antique elegance, transports guests to a bygone era of comfort and class. A scenic walk through nature’s tapestry unveils its secrets, plum, apricot and apple trees await your presence. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a deer or a leopard! As the night takes over, the villa’s close proximity to Shimla Mall beckons you to explore the bustling streets. Soak in the warmth from the bonfire on the lawn under the canopy of Shimla’s night sky and prepare yourself for another day of serenity.

ADD-ON SERVICES
– All vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are available in-house at an additional cost.
– The costs for the aforementioned food and beverage offerings and events are subject to an 18% GST charge.
– A bonfire setup can be arranged at an extra cost of Rs. 1500 per session, post which Rs. 500 would be levied for an extra crate of wood.
– The fireplace can be used at an additional cost of Rs. 500 per crate of wood.
– An alfresco dining setup can be arranged for the guests at an extra cost of Rs. 2000. Kindly note that alfresco dining is not available at late nights
– Laundry services can be availed at an additional cost.
– Amenities such as the playroom, library, indoor games, torches, iron and medical kits can be accessed by the guests at no extra charge.
– Errand run charges of Rs. 500/- per run will be charged for procurement, pick-up, delivery, etc. of any kind for up to 5km distance. Our procurement team is available from 10am till 5pm.
– Personal staff accommodation can be provided for 2 male and 2 female staff at an additional cost of Rs. 1200 per person, inclusive of breakfast. An additional charge of Rs. 400 per person will be levied for lunch/dinner.
– If the guests require caretaker services post 10 PM, the staff can serve you at an additional overtime cost up till midnight.
